Raytheon recognises L3Harris with supplier excellence 'EPIC' award

We're proud to have received an EPIC Supplier Excellence Award from Raytheon – recognising the company for overall excellence in Performance, Innovation and Collaboration for one or more Raytheon businesses.

EPIC Awards are given to the highest performing suppliers. We've been working with Raytheon’s Space & Airborne Systems division based in Goleta, California, since 2007, providing specialized Radio Frequency (RF) processing subassemblies for integration into Raytheon’s Radar Warning Receivers (RWRs).

Since then, we've designed three RF subassemblies specifically to meet Raytheon specifications and manufactured over 3,000 units, which are integrated into military aircraft deployed worldwide, including the F/A-18, F-16, KC-46 and C-130H aircraft. L3Harris and Raytheon continue to work collaboratively to ensure production can be maintained in the future and to innovate with new design features as required.

Our Managing Director, Sarah Earey, was presented with the award by Marianne McPherson, Raytheon SAS' Supply Chain Site Manager, on the L3Harris stand at the Pacific International Maritime Exhibition in Sydney today. Marianne gave a short speech where she spoke highly of the excellent ongoing relationship we've held with Raytheon over many years and mentioned that out of hundreds of suppliers, she chose us to be given this award, which is a great honour.

For production efficiency, L3Harris uses its business operating system called e3 (excellence, everywhere, every day), to deliver excellence, innovation, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement, including Lean Six Sigma processes. The L3Harris engineering and manufacturing facility in Brisbane is AS9100D accredited with no exclusions, providing Raytheon and its customers with the assurance of high-quality, high-reliability, aerospace-grade equipment.
