L3Harris signs partnership agreement with iXblue for Australian support

At Pacific International Maritime Exhibition in Sydney today, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with iXblue, a French company who've supplied world-leading inertial navigation systems and subsea technology to the Royal Australian Navy and customers in the Australasian region for over a decade.

The MOU is aimed at strengthening iXblue’s support system, with L3Harris becoming the company's regional support partner. Together, the companies aim to deliver a scalable sovereign sustainment framework for the iXblue products used by the Australian Defence Force, as well as a greater support capacity in general for iXblue customers throughout Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

David Donohue, Managing Director of iXblue Pty Ltd (Australia), looks forward to this new arrangement, “We are very impressed with the capability and experience offered by L3Harris’ Brisbane-based workforce. We are sure that they will be a great addition to our regional support network and look forward to taking greater advantage of Australian skills and ingenuity in support of our products and services in the region.”

“L3Harris is pleased to partner with iXblue with a view to providing in-country support, integration and sustainment for their high-performance maritime navigation systems,” said Sarah Earey, Managing Director of L3Harris - Micreo, who signed the MOU for the company. “L3Harris has a very strong network across the region with the skills and facilities for assembly, integration, calibration, repair and support of complex systems, and we’re proud to be able to offer these services to organisations such as iXblue to enable Australia to benefit from advanced technologies from across the globe.”

The agreement was signed by Nigel Bagster (Managing Director, L3Harris Australia), David Cunningham (Global Commercial Director - Military, iXblue SAS, France), and Sarah Earey (Managing Director, L3Harris Micreo) on the iXblue stand at the event.
