L3 Micreo announced as finalist in Essington Lewis Awards 2018

We're proud to be announced as a finalist in the Minor Sustainment category of the prestigious Essington Lewis Awards 2018. The Minor Sustainment Activity category is for projects valued under $20 million per year, that contribute to the Department of Defence’s ability to effectively equip and sustain the ADF. In 2017 we worked with Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) to provide their REDWING suite of counter-IED devices - and it is for this sustainment and production project that we have been announced as a finalist for the award.

L3 Micreo selects Cancer Council Queensland as its Charity of Choice for 2018

Following an internal company-wide vote, L3 Micreo has chosen Cancer Council QLD (CCQ) as its 2018 Charity of Choice. CCQ is Queensland’s leading independent, non-government organisation in cancer control. They raise funds dedicated to eliminating cancer and diminishing suffering from the disease through research, treatment, patient care, prevention and early detection, to increase survival and quality of life for those affected.

L3 Micreo to Develop Technologies in Support of Australia’s Counter Improvised Threats Grand Challenge

We're pleased to have secured AU$1 million funding from the Australian government’s Next Generation Technologies Fund to research a scalable High-Energy Laser Array (HELA), a new innovation we put forward as part of the Fund’s Counter Improvised Threats Grand Challenge.

L3 Micreo continues successful Electrical Engineering Scholarship with University of Queensland

In November, L3 Micreo was pleased to welcome scholarship student, Lucas Rabenhorst, to join the engineering team for the summer period. Lucas joins us from University of Queensland (UQ) and is the successful recipient of this years’ ‘L3 Micreo Scholarship in Electrical Engineering’.

L3 Micreo Achieves Australian Trusted Trader Status

L3 Micreo has achieved full accreditation status of Australian Trusted Trader. There are currently only 110 companies in Australia that have this recognition.
